Comparison inputs

DevDiff comparison inputs are processed in your browser using client-side JavaScript. The app does not provide user accounts, does not ask you to upload files, and does not store pasted comparison text in a DevDiff database.

Sensitive data

You should redact secrets before using the tools. Do not paste passwords, private keys, access tokens, session cookies, personal data, or confidential customer records unless you fully understand the risk of using a browser-based tool.

Advertising and cookies

DevDiff may use Google AdSense or similar advertising services. Advertising partners may use cookies or device identifiers to serve, measure, and limit ads according to their own policies and the choices available in your browser or Google ad settings.

Hosting and logs

Like most websites, DevDiff may generate basic hosting logs such as request time, page URL, browser user agent, and IP address. These logs are used for availability, abuse prevention, and debugging, not to reconstruct comparison inputs.

When you contact DevDiff, any information you send may be used to respond to your message, investigate a bug, or improve site content. Do not include unredacted secrets in support messages.
